Pilarcore Technology
Pilarcore® Technology is Pilarbio’s proprietary agricultural microcapsule technology system for controlled release, developed through years of technical expertise and refinement. Designed to address growers’ real challenges across diverse application scenarios, Pilarcore® technology combines the systematic design and precise matching of active ingredients, adjuvants, and microcapsule materials with tailored formulation processes. Validated through more than a decade of product efficacy testing, Pilarcore® Technology has evolved into a long-lasting crop protection solution that supports the entire crop life cycle.
For growers around the world, the greatest costs often do not come from seeds, fertilizers, or crop protection products themselves, but from the labor, time, and management complexity caused by repeated applications. By encapsulating active ingredients within a micron-scale protective film, Pilarcore® Technology helps extend residual efficacy by 2–3 times while reducing application input. Supported by four core techniques, Pilarcore® Technology delivers long-lasting protection from sowing to harvest—helping growers save labor, simplify crop management, and enjoy greater peace of mind.
  • Dual-Film Protection Technique
    • Seeds are treated with microencapsulation technology to enhance protection.
    • A fast-forming film provides immediate protection against drought and waterlog.
    • A controlled-release film delivers long-lasting protection against pests and diseases.
    • We choose organic, eco-friendly film-forming agent to ensure greater safety for seeds and soil.
  • Wait-for-Weed Technique
•A microcapsule film is formed in the soil to provide sustained suppression of weed germination.
•The Film Stops Weed Seeds from Germinating for Up to 30–45 Days.
  • Re-forming Film Protection Technique
•Microcapsules adhere to the crop surface, forming an effective protective film that isolates and eliminates pathogens.
•When exposed to rain or dew, the active ingredients are continuously released from the microcapsules, continuously forming protective films.
•The encapsulating material used in the Pilarcore fungicide product is a macromolecular organic nitrogen compound, which can also be gradually absorbed by the leaves during the release process.
  • Multi-Stage Release Technique
•Microcapsules adheres tightly to the crop surface, during the initial stage after application (within 3–5 days), the active ingredient is released at its peak level, rapidly killing existing pests.
•Thereafter, Pilarcore insecticide product enters a sustained-release phase (within 5–30 days), continuously releasing highly lethal doses to maintain excellent insecticidal activity over the long term.
•In the later stage after application (30–65 days later), pests accumulate a lethal dose through contact with multiple microcapsules, and the microcapsule particles continue to provide reliable and long-lasting protection for the crop.
