Pilarnano Technology

Exploring the world of Nano, Pilarquim has pioneered in the application of Nano-technology

in agrochemical formulations, ushering in a new era of precise crop protection.
Pilarnano Technology® utilizes nano-technology to enhance current products. With particle sizes between 300-600nm, the spray coverage is more uniform, absorption is improved, and pesticide utilization rates are significantly increased, reducing the required pesticide amount by over 25% and decreasing application frequency, thus saving costs for users.
  • Smaller Particle Size
    for Better Coverage
    • The average particle size decreased from 2.96 μm to 0.65 μm, resulting in a 61-fold increase in particle count within the same formulation volume.
    • Pilarnano significantly reduces particle size, allowing more particles to be distributed within the same formulation volume. This helps improve coverage and creates a denser efficacy layer on the target surface.
  • Higher Deposition and Utilization
    • Deposition increased threefold, allowing more effective ingredient distribution on the target surface and remain on the target surface, enhancing utilization efficiency and reducing unnecessary loss during application. 1

  • Better Spreading
    & Faster Absorption
    • Surface tension was reduced by 7 mN/m, enabling the spray solution to spread more evenly and improving absorption efficiency, resulting in faster absorption and quicker action2.

2 Source: Data from the R&D Center. Surface tension reduced from 50 mN/m to 43 mN/m.
  • Longer-Lasting Efficacy with Less Input
    • Verified by authoritative plant protection institutes for 3 consecutive years, Pilarnano maintained efficacy even with a 25% lower dosage, helping reduce product use, planting costs, and application frequency3.
